Anyone know any nice low traffic back roads to take a drive on?

I'm just looking for a place to put the top down and take a pleasure drive.

Go east. Down Immokalee Rd or Oil Well Rd. If that isn't far enough, go north from there, through Immokalee and continue going east. With all the smoke and fire, 41 is not an option at this time.

Thanks Ron. I will have to check that out and hopefully some other roads near by me.

What ron e wheels said.

SR29 north of Immokalee to SR 78 up to Okeechobee is not a bad drive, even this time of the year.

SR31 and the other 2 lanes connected to it used to be pretty decent for top down cruises. Like everywhere else around here, it has become a nightmare in the daytime, unless you enjoy driving 5 under in between semis and dump trucks dropping rocks, waiting until the parade going the opposite direction lightens up enough to pass them.

FWIW, I only drive my old convertible around late at night these days. It's the only time I can let my guard down a bit and actually enjoy it.

And unless you were taking it east it wouldn’t be a pleasure drive during season anyway!

Another option is to go a bit north to Ft Myers and then take 80 east to LaBelle and then 29 south back to Immokalee.

Tripower's route is a good one...
When we wintered in Naples, we did that route and similar on occasion in the VetteVert.

The only lacking feature is any kind of curvy two lane blacktop, that the OP may be used to.

Curves and 'fun roads' in South FL are like unicorns, in our experience.

From Immokalee take 846 east to 833 north to 80 and 80/27 into Clewiston. In Clewiston . Circle the lake maybe or you could take 835 south depending on road condition as it is sugar cane field area . It was rough when we went threw it a couple years back but driving slow with the top down you can run south to back to 846 then east on it down thru the indian reservation , NO SPEEDING back to 1-75 west to at least us-29 . maybe north to oil well grade and back thru the GGE . Easy to run out of roads to ride down there .

I've never taken it but 41 towards Miami I would think would be nice and not much traffic.

The exit off of I-75 towards Immokalee is nice, mostly green open fields.

The back roads north of Arcadia are still pretty lightly travelled. Even SR17 between I75 and Arcadia is, surprisingly, a pretty pleasant drive. Getting there, however, isn't.

Even that drive from US 17 from I-75 to Arcadia gets pretty busy during season, and now, with all the construction around, US 17 has a lot of truck traffic. Add to that the number of trucks heading into and out of the Walmart Distribution Ctr just over the Desoto County line on US 17, it can add to the traffic. Not to mention the number of those trucks that have torn up the road on US 17 ( both sides of the road but especially southbound) it gets to be a bumpy ride.
