Yes, I totally get and know that. I'm thinking of another possible perspective. How will you and your child feel when your child goes to a pricey Naples school with kids whose parents have that 15 million dollar Naples house and you're asked "where do you live?". You may find that you don't "fit in" with the families and children at that school when you answer Bonita Springs.

I'm not saying this is right, you may not care, but you may encounter this from some people.

Possibly, but I know people sending their child to Community School who don’t live on the beach but are in The Moorings and other places. I suspect a house on the beach in Barefoot Beach will be comparable (we’re not talking BS or Estero here.) Not everyone sending their child there lives on Gulf Shore Blvd or in Port Royal, although I’m sure plenty do - hence my earlier comment about 16 year old kids getting Porsches and BMWs as birthday presents. I’ve seen it.

Nice birthday presents! I'm jealous. LOL

I attended the Village school 3rd to 6th grade and I am still recovering from the experience I had there. This was back in 2011 so maybe things have changed but I would not recommend it.

I'd love to hear about your experiences if you're willing to share! Feel free to private message me if you feel more comfortable. Just trying to get as many opinions as possible!

If you are considering the Village School, you might want to look at First Baptist Academy.
