Default Flying into Miami but need to get to Naples

I am traveling to Naples in about a month but have to fly through Miami due to airline restrictions (I basically have a free flight on TACA air, and they don't fly directly into Ft. Myers).

Does anyone know the cheapest way to travel from Miami to Naples area? Is there any Amtrak or local commuter?

There is not I don't think. It's not that far to drive, and there might be shuttles through the airport or transport systems. I would suggest Google and look up "Miami to Naples tranportation".
Good Luck.

There is no public transportation system between those cities.

Naples Airport Shuttle - Serving Naples, Fort Myers, Southwest Florida RSW SWFIA Ground Transportation, Taxi, Limo, Limousine to Southwest Florida International Airport

The other option is to rent a car.

You could contact your airliness. A lot of the time they have information on these things. For future references if you come back and get into Ft. Lauderdale you will save a couple of miles. It's about 110 miles from Miami to Naples via I-75. You could coordinate with Grayhound bus. I bet they go that way several times each day.

I think Greyhound will be the only way, but there aren't that many runs between Naples and Miami, so you had better check their schedules.

rent a car one way maybe?????? It's a shame there's not a web site for rides across alligator alley.....It's closed today due to the fire in the middle of the state. Unless it opened back up since i saw the news.

Thanks all. I never thought of Greyhound! If that doesn't work i agree that renting a car, even if it's just one way, is the best bet. Thanks again and hopefully the officials get the fires under control. I know they're a constant problem when it's dry down there.
