We are probably going to check out six different condos available in N. Naples, Lakeside tomorrow. All on Citrus Lake Drive. Anything we should know about the area and the community? We are 60/55, retired with grown children (no grand children yet). We want a quiet community with nice facilities. Close enough to the ocean to go to the beach without too much traffic. Fairly close to normal shopping.

Oh, and for any of you Florida real estate savvy people: The prices of the six unit range from $139,900 up to $179,900. How much do you think we could lower an offer? $10K? More??

Lakeside will meet all of your needs.

Traffic will be rough during season.

I have no idea what to offer on a place there.

Your agent can assist you in making an offer. He or she will pull up the comps and tell you what the units have recently been selling for in that neighborhood. Then she should be able to walk you through the art of making an offer and negotiations.

We made an offer yesterday. Hopefully we will own a condo in Lakeside N. Naples by early February.

Since, hopefully, we will soon own a condo in Collier County, we will be able to obtain a parking sticker for free. Would we have to buy a separate sticker for Lee County beaches and parks, or will the Collier County sticker work for Lee County?

Default Lakeside

Have a condo at Lakeside for 20 years. Moved here permanently for 3 years.
People here are great we all watch out for one another and it's very conveniet to shopping areas plus medical facilites.
Let me know if you need to know more about the area.

You can get a free sticker for Collier with proof of residency.

There is no reciprocity with Lee County. I don't know what Lee's policy is but I would assume it is for residents only.

If the deal goes through, we will be at 2885 Citrus Lake Drive, #105. I'm sure we will have some more questions if you don't mind. Thanks.

Congrats, tmozer!

Murrell's Inlet is beautiful, too! You can have the best of both worlds! Good for you!
