I am looking for a place that sells butchered beef by the side or quarter. Also pork. Just got a new freezer and need to fill it. I really hate supermarket meats. I liked the farmer markets in Pa. We could go once a year and fill up the freezer with grass fed beef. Any local butchers in the area?

Ok...Anyone know if the farmers markets sell fresh butchered meats?
I guess I just need to go to the markets and check them out. Wish they were opened during the week. Weekends are tough with 2 teenagers and school activities.
If anyone knows of anything, please let me know. All this farm land around, you would think there would be plenty of butchering going on!

Hi Kristin, We just discovered a true gem of a full time farm market yesterday. They have naturally raised meat, plus organic groceries, plus it is a full produce market with an awesome wine selection to boot! I did notice that they had beef freezer bundles on sale right now, reasonable prices too. OH they also have fresh seafood. The name of the market is Oakes Farm Market, 2205 Davis Blvd, Naples 239-348-0144. I believe that they are open until 6pm daily.
