Hello friends,

I'm considering making an offer on a home in Twin Oaks subdivision, just south of Jim Warren Park in Franklin. You fine folks seem to know a lot about Franklin, any information you can provide about the subdivision and surrounding neighborhood would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I lived in Franklin for over ten years but could not place this subdivision until I looked it up on a map. I have been through there, though, and remember thinking it was a quiet little tucked-away area.
The best part about Twin Oaks, besides the price, is that the streets don't connect to the other neighboring streets. Some of the streets back behind there off West Main are iffy, but the Boyd Mill side, where you'd be coming in, is surrounded by fairly new subdivisions that are nice.
The worst part is that you'd be smack in between the county's largest soccer complex, which is surprisingly busy, and a city park, which can be a perk and a pain.
At least they don't have the rodeo at Jim Warren park anymore!
But overall I'd say Twin Oaks is a great value in a good location. Maybe you won't have to peel off too much old wallpaper!
Good luck!
