I am so sick of these commercials! He is what gives lawyers a bad name. If these people are so hurt then why show them dancing and bowling? He is truly the Dean of ambulance chasers. He doesn't care about people only about the $$$$$. I would NOT hire him as my lawyer

"The Watson's Girl"
When my company owned Channel 58, here in Nashville, we had a party downtown at the Hard Rock Cafe to introduce new programs on the old WB Network. Tom Arnold was there, as well as "The Watson's Girl". More people wanted to meet The Watson's Girl than Tom Arnold. She was much more popular and signed more autographs. This took place in 1996 or 97.

Well, you can tell that his clients aren't the brightest bulbs, so I'll bet he gets a lot of calls. I'm guessing he picks the best of the best to be on his TV commercials, so you can imagine what the average client is like. We're in a sue happy society where people can be idiots and actually get paid by the court system for it.

Yeah, no joke. The tall guy that says he got hit by a semi on his way to Nashville from Arkansas looks like a real winner, don't he ?
You're right, sue happy society where everyone thinks they can get rich quick and Bart Durham plays on that hard.

I have to bring this old thread back to life for a moment because I saw one of the worst ones yet this evening.
A young girl that was injured in a car accident, standing with Bart, grinning from ear to ear while she told us how she "won" over 300,000 from her settlement. She planned to use the money to open her own business or something.....
Good God.
He appeals to the mass idiots that think suing someone is like winning the lottery! To sit there with that defiant, poo eating grin was beyond classless, but then again....let's remember who we're dealing with here, and that's putting it nicely.
Bart, in your next commercial why don't you go ahead and dress up like a little leprechaun, and lead some poor fool to a fake pot of gold at the end of a big, fake rainbow. You'll get the same message across....

^ Don't give him any ideas!
The soap opera commercials were terrible, indeed, but you have to admit that his advertising campaigns are successful. If you don't have a lawyer, I guarentee the first person that comes to mind when you think "personal injury lawyer" is probably Bart Durham. I'm not saying it's good or bad, just that he's saturated the market. A brilliant move, from a marketing standpoint, really.

So here is the commercial that needs to follow BD....
Payout $500,000
Taxes due $200,000 (roughly)
BDs cut -- $210000 (30%)
Total to you= $90,000.00
Really wanna call BD now?
