OK I had no idea what the fuss was about with Bart Durham commercials, but now that I'm living in the Nashville area and watch Nashville television stations, I am soooo sick of those Bart Durham commercials! They are awful, and if anything they make me want to call any other attorney besides Bart Durham.

He seems like an emotionless drone that never goes out of that smiling character. I've had the displeasure of seeing the Carnival Kia guy in person, so let's hope I never see Bart. He doesn't seem slimy like the Kia guy, he just seems......like a drone.

I'm not sure Bart has been seen in public since the late 80s. I have a sneaking suspicion what we see on TV is actually a Showbiz Pizza/Chuck E Cheese animatronic robot. "Justice is your right and we demand it. Justice is your right and we demand it. Justice is your right and we demand it."

The problem with Bart's newer commercials is that the cheesy story playing out in the video is a non sequitur to the story being narrated.

While I appreciate the non-use of dramatizations, it's almost like they hired an amateur film crew to shoot the commercials.

Yeah that's the one that drives me crazy. I mean, the older one ("Dad, can we go camping this weekend? --You bet, son!") was cheesy and saccharin, but this new one with the foreign exchange student and the family bowing all the time is just annoying. Is it supposed to be funny? And seriously, what does it have to do with someone winning a $450,000 settlement? And why does the foreign exchange student speak better English than most Metro council members?

If I could have paid extra for a TV that skipped Bart Durham commericals, I would have.

Not only are the commercials terrible, but none of the people they show are even the one that won the case, who's supposedly talking in the background. The one with the country american idol type thing is the worst!

If I ever needed such a lawyer, I'd certainly avoid Bart Durham just because of the stressed he's caused me watching his terrible commercials!

I personally can't stand these things. Feel like they've been running for 3+ years. They don't make sense. .

It's funny/kind of sad that this thread started over seven years ago but it's still going on. It's quite unfortunate. I see he's plastering his face on buses now as well.
