Default Nashville area real estate agent acreage

Hi, We will be visiting TN next month (our first time there, though have been doing research on the internet of course) to check out the area for possible relocation. We assume corporate jobs would be best found in Nashville, so looking for areas within commuting distance of the city. However, we need acreage for our horses. We are thinking perhaps 15-30 acres would be very nice. Can anyone recommend any good real estate agents, particularly ones that have some experience with larger properties/horse properties?

Hi Greyhnd, I am a native Middle Tennessean and a realtor who does a lot of relocation work. There are lots of areas around Nashville that would be suitable for horses. It all depends on your budget and lifestyle. Leipers Fork in Williamson County has some gorgeous horse farms ~ and gorgeous price tags to go with them. Rutherford County has several equestrian farms, and of course Shelbyville is known for being The Walking Horse Capital of the World. Other options would be Springfield, Mt. Juliet, Henderonsville, maybe even Joelton or Pleasant view. Each area has pros and cons. If you would like to contact me through my website, or send me an email with your specifics I'll be happy to try to help or at least try to guide you in the right direction.

Thanks, wellkids. I have heard of some of those towns, looked into Pleasant View today, looks very nice though small size so not sure properties would become available too often, but I sent you a separate PM. Thanks!
