Hi,
We're looking to move to Nashville in June 2011. Married, two kids (freshman high school Fall 2011 and 3rd grader), dogs and cats. We are thinking we might rent but with the economy and houses so much better than Michigan, we may purchase. We're looking for a good neighborhood, private schools for the kids (both are in Catholic school in Michigan) and an area that's not a too far commute from St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Let me know what you can. Our price range for a purchase is nothing over $180k and rent nothing over $1500/month but we'd need pets to be okay with the rent. Thanks in advance for the help

Did you mean to post this in the Memphis forum? I assume so, since you said commute like you'll be working at St. Jude. It's about 4 hours from Nashville.

If you do mean Nashville, I would highly recommend Hendersonville and its Pope John Paul II High School and St. John Vianney for the little one.

You'll want something very near Nashville for this PNPGuy like Bellevue and Berry Hill where you can also get what you want in that price range.Areas like Bellevue (37221) and Berry Hill (37204) unlike Hendersonville or Mt.Juliet are right next to Nashville making the interstate commute easier and also have Catholic private schools nearby like Father Ryan High and then you have Saint Henry for Elementary. As for middle I'll have to find that.
