Default discount movie theaters?

I recently moved to Nashville and have been trying to find a discount movie theater (showing movies a couple of months after they've come out). Does anyone know of such a theater around Nashville or in the surrounding areas? thanks!

Maybe the Belcourt. There used to be several theatres that did that . . . but there's not many left. Seems like I remember someone mentioning a place in Franklin that had discount movies, but I can't remember the name of it offhand, or whether it's even still open. The Belcourt sometimes shows movies outside on the side of the building! If you're new to Nashville, you need to discover the Belcourt anyway. The outside isn't much . . . but you'll be surprised by the stage inside.

There even a few drive-ins left, believe it or not.

Springfield's theater shows almost first run movies and tickets are only $4 (it was a couple of months ago anyway). It's an older theater, but if the movie is one you want to see, it's a good price. Makes it affordable for families.

We really enjoy the drive-in theatre in Franklin, KY, depending on where you are in Nashville, it may be very close. I don't think it took us more than 25min or so to get there, and it is $9 a carload and on the weekends they have a double feature. Plus a kickin' (reasonably priced) concession. We went there for the first time a few weeks ago and are looking to go again real soon (like this weekend). Also it seems to be a tad bit cooler there than nashville so it was a very pleasant evening. Index

Also, during the summer at the area regal theaters on Tuesday and Wed, there are free family movies at 10am. There are 2 choices each week.

Enjoy!
