I am thinking about moving to the Nashville area . I am looking for an area that has a lot of activites for kids.Good schools I have a six year old son that is not classified as a special education student , but he does need PT , OT and speech therapy. So I am looking for a school that has inclusion or inntergrated classrooms. I am looking for an area that that is not in the middle of the city but not more then a 10 min drive to stores and things.Any info would be great thanks

Hi So Done-

That could be a lot of places. Do you have an idea of what you'd like to spend on a house or rent? That would help narrow it down.

So Done, My opinion would be to move to Williamson county because of the schools. Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville , Spring Hill. It depends on how much you have to spend.
I moved here a year ago from NJ, love it here.I live on the Nashville/Brentwood Border.

I am putting in my vote for Murfreesboro. There is a little bit of everything here. No real need to go to Nashville unless you just want to. There are shops and restaurants galore. I am pretty sure my daughter's school (Scales Elementary) has intergrated classrooms. She is 7 and loves the school. The teachers are excellent and she even attends the afterschool program there. It is wonderful. Williamson Co has excellent schools, but so does Rutherford Co. Murfreesboro is just a little cheaper on the pocketbook. You get more house for the money here. Just my opinion.
