My husbands job will be relocating to Nashville in the near future. The company is looking for a commercial building to open the new office and have been considering one found on:

Bill Jones Industrial Dr. in Springfield, TN

Can anyone give me a little insight on the area?

Is it a safe part of town?

What about the areas around it, where we will consider moving to?
What is your favorite town in the North Nashville area? Which has the best small town feel?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

Springfield isn't really considered "Nashville". It's about a 45 minute drive from the immediate downtown Nashville vicinity. Springfield is a nice community, fairly rural, but still has ample commercial and residential areas to support a good quality of life. It is the county seat of Robertson County. Although I don't know the specific area of Springfield that Bill Jones Industrial Drive is at, Springfield is a very safe area with low crime. Definitely a small town feel.

What Don Said, lol.

In Robertson County, Greenbrier and Ridgetop are more suburban Nashville while Springfield is still mostly a fairly independent small town. If you work in Springfield I would recommend living in one of these towns which would put you closer to Nashville and Hendersonville for shopping/dining/entertainment but still a quick commute from Springfield.
