I know it's far in advance and the date hasn't even been announced yet, but I'm thinking of going to Nashville for my birthday (Nov 9) and realized that the CMA awards are always in early November. Would love to be able to make that happen if I did my birthday trip there! Anyone know how much the tickets cost? Thanks!

We paid $150 each last time. Just like most tickets, they get scalped and can go in the thousands.

Thanks! What's the best way to get those prices... stalk Ticketmaster until the second they go on sale, or did you get them from a resell site like Stubhub?

Does anyone know when the tickets go on sale for the CMAs?

The awards are actually on your birthday.

Check out the CMA website: Country Music Association
with links to the awards and their facebook page. Also enter any contests you see.

Last year I won passes to sit on the red carpet, actually it was black, and watch the stars walk by. It was cool.

Yep, I saw that when they announced the other day Don't know for sure if I'll be able to make it down there or not as I may have another trip around the same timeframe.

They don't have any info regarding tickets on the CMA website as of yet (just leftover stuff from last year). Guess I'll just have to keep my eyes peeled for when they announce the tickets.

Do they normally have a typical timeframe that they go on sale? Say for instance, around August?

They announced either today or yesterday that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood would be back as the hosts again. Guessing that's the first of many announcements for the event.

How did you win this?
What did you have to have to get through security?

Tuesday Nov 8 the Grand Ole Opry will be at the Ryman. It's too early to know who may be on the bill but any performance at the Ryman is fine.
