Do you agree with these laws that allow the police to confiscate personal property based on a suspicion of illegal activity?

Who is going to police the police? Hopefully the courts. That's one of the few checks the police have.

Right, hopefully the courts are there to keep the lawmen from abusing their privileges. And I could definitely see where it could be abused, no doubt. Probably some more oversight wouldn't hurt. But, I'm sorry, someone carrying around $200,000 cash is definitely suspicious. It doesn't seem very safe for a legitimate business practice when there are national banks everywhere or, at the very least, you can wire the funds Western Union instead. I can understand why a cop would be suspicious in that instance.

Folks, Law enforcement in this country are getting more and more brazen and with the "No Knock" law .. No One is beyond this happening to them or their family!

This discussion has taken a turn that is no longer specific to Nashville. You might want to start a new thread in the Politics and Other Controversies forum to continue, but this thread is closed.
