I've read a lot of these threads & have not noticed a lot of info on home rentals for people with no children (yes, we do exist). We have 2 dogs/cats. How difficult is it to find a decent home for rent? Maybe in the $1000 range.

Hey there...I imagine you should be able to find a place for $1,000/mo in Hendersonville...especially if you look at condos/townhomes.

You will probably get more feedback if you post this in the Nashville thread, though.

1000 or less is probably going to be a condo or a 1970s era no updates home. 1295 is probably the best bet for a newer small home most likely in the New Shackle Island Rd/Glen Oaks area or the Walton Ferry/Sanders Ferry Peninsula. Good luck with your search!

I would say that you have a lot of options! There are many houses in Hendersonville that would easily accommodate the "no children" folk such as yourself! I will say, before you move in anywhere........ Get a mold inspection! The 2010 flood hit Hendersonville too! Even if it looks ok... Get it inspected! You can get a mold inspection for around 100 bucks! Hope it helps. Go to realtracs.com and check them out. You can search rental properties in Sumner county there!
