900$ a month, 2+bdrms, small dog (12lb) terrier mix. I was looking(online) at Hickory Run Apts on West Main. I have contacted the police for crime stats. Also calling the post office and spoke with the carrier that delivers there, concerning what the area looks like. Do you know anything about those apts? Again have to rent sight unseen, so I am being very careful.

I've been looking at 2-bedroom apartments in Hendersonville as well. I toured Aventura at Indian Lake Village, and thought those apartments had a great location and were very nice (especially the kitchens). You should be able to get a 2-bed there for $900, but the price varies depending on the unit. I also toured Avondale at Kennesaw Farms, technically in Gallatin, but very close to the Hendersonville border. The grounds there are very nice, and the apartments were nice but a little small. I've been looking online at Marina Pointe (aka Carrington Place Apartments) at 1 Carrington Road, x the 500 East block of Main Street. These apartments are much more spacious for around the same price as the others I saw, but I didn't get a chance to take a look in person while I was in town. I may go ahead and rent one of these without seeing it in person when I move in July/August. They are "extremely pet friendly" and even have a doggie park on the property. They have 2-bedroom apartments that are 1087 square feet starting at $769, and 2-bedroom townhome-style apartments that are 1437 square feet starting at $899.

I am decieding between Adventura and Grove apts. 2 bedrooms 900$. Pet friendly, (sight unseen) online they look great. Adventura looks wonderful, my only question, 2 reviews stated its noisy. Being so close to strip mall and walmart, are there any people wandering through the complex. Just being cautious.

Check apartment ratings.com, it will tell you everything wrong with the complexes. Adventura and Grove apts are under 2 yrs old and only have 1 negative rating noise @ adventura.

Aventura may be close to Walmart, etc, but all that shopping is on the other side of the Indian Lake Blvd. The complex is located on a busy street, so I imagine the apartments on the street side would have traffic noise, but on the other side I didn't notice any noise. Between Aventura and Grove, I think Aventura is a better location.
