I had good sushi at Wild Ginger in Cool Springs a couple of years ago. It is on Baker's Bridge on the Carothers Rd side of the interstate. It's a little pricey, but very good.

It's in Glenbrook next to Target. The sign just says World Market but the real name is Cost Plus World Market.

I like Kohana Sushi in Hendersonville but it's pretty expensive. Sapporo in Rivergate is one of my favorites for price and quality.

Oh...okay. I have been in World Market before. I misunderstood...I thought you were talking about a seperate place. I didn't realize they had sushi there.

Kohana is definitely expensive. I honestly don't see them making ends meet...everyone that I know who has been there has only been once and remarked how expensive it is. Not a good sign.

They don't have sushi but fortune cookies which she had also asked about.

I just discovered something about my sushi trips to Donelson Kroger. It's good, but DON'T buy it on Friday and get in the mood to eat it on Sunday.

That's my contribution.

I have tried Harris Teeter's Sushi and it is the same as Publix. I don't know where there is a Trader Joe's down here, but I used to go to them in Chicago and they had good sushi. Otherwise, we have tried one place down here, and it was just ok. Still looking, so if you find something, let me know!

TJ's is just south of Green Hills Mall on Hillsboro Rd. I don't think they have fresh sushi there.

Restaurants: Hanabi off Ward Circle in Brentwood or Virago in the Gulch. For what you've described... how about the new Whole Foods off McEwen?
