We are coming for Labor Day. We like Italian and seafood at a reasonable price, any ideas?

What part of town are you staying at? What is your budget? I'll also assume you're looking for more "local" type places and not chains.

You're not going to find a good amount of outstanding seafood here...at least not compared with coastal cities. But you can still find a good seafood dish at the higher end restaurants.

As far as Italian goes, there's a decent selection. Sole Mio is downtown and pretty good, I've heard good things about Porta Via's and Valentino's. Mafioza's is pretty good as well, but I think it's more of a pizza place.

I like Savarino's Cucina - Local Business - Nashville, TN | Facebook if you are looking for Italian lunch counter food. Good sandwiches and great pastries.
