BayArea... yes Cleveland Park is a predominately black neighborhood. Do some searching in these forums (there's a ton of threads on this area and some good history in them as well). Sarah's blanket statement about it being "rather dangerous" anywhere west of Ellington is about as ignorant as it gets.

I happen to be white as are my next door neighbors but whether white, black, brown, yellow etc... I've had no issues.

Like I said, it's been a pleasant experience for me living here.

Well I also looked at her posting history and from what I could tell is that many of her posts contain things that are obviously true, so I really don't see any need to quickly look away.

In my opinion, I would rather say she was wrong about that one thing than use the word "ignorant".

Just wanted to alert the OP (a newcomer) that you can dig a bit deeper and see the environment where certain opinions are formed. And to use that grain of salt. Or in some cases a load of salt.
