Thanks for the link. “When there’s congestion, it comes to a standstill quick." Exactly. It goes from 65-70 mph to 0 in a very quick time. Had that happen this morning, in fact.

The article mentions BRT as a possible solution. While I like the idea of the BRT route from West to East Nashville, I'd be surprised if a BRT route from Hendersonville to Nashville would be a success. Maybe if traffic was bad enough people (ie - me) would consider it; but I am not sure how much volume it would remove from the roads. The money would be better spent easing current congestion via construction, I'd think.

Everyone always mentions that the rent is too high. That really doesn't explain why no one is ever in there (except for my family 4 times this month). The prices are the same as the one on the South side. This one had the better food, but TERRIBLE service the past couple of months! When are they scheduled to close? How much longer till Brixx closes? There is never anyone in there unless they are running one of their specials.

The number I heard was somewhere around 12-15k a month. Look how long September's went empty before Soapillas tried a go at it.

Puckett's might do well there though. I know I'd love to have them closer. The food is good, and there's a nice vibe as well. I especially like their brunch.

Heard Puckett's was thinking of a spot on Gallatin's square, but Home went in instead. Only to never open, and by the looks of it, the Hartsville location Home is closed as well. Sounds like Chef Tully been on a roller coaster since going on the show. Tully Wilson, 'Chef Wanted' Winner, Claims Todd English Didn't Give Him Prize Job At Olives NYC

So far we've had the recent closing of Qdoba & Mimi's Cafe. if Soapillas closes too, The Streets of Indian Lake will start looking like a graveyard.

Interesting, there was a survey on their FB page about what type of restaurant would the public like to see go in. Looks like the category of Seafood won, specifically Bonefish Grill. They then followed up with a questions asking how often would you visit a Bonefish Grill. Bonefish is a little pricey side though. But the Bang Bang Shrimp is great.

Nothing will do well there w/o significantly increasing folks in the mall, which means full store occupancy rates.
The Streets is a disaster, and I say that despite liking Sam's immensely.
