Hello all!

I've never been to Nashville or TN at all, but I am transferring schools and intend on moving there next fall or late summer and going to college there. Where should I be looking to rent? Which areas in Nashville are good and bad etc? I will be twenty by the time I move. (Yes young, but extremely mature for my age. I've done the whole out on my own and very far from home thing. Across the country from home in fact.) , but not into the party scene at all etc and don't need to be in the most hip/active area necessarily. I'm looking for a kind of quiet, serene setting, friendly, family oriented would be nice. My main goal is to find a place that's safe, affordable, attractive, and comfortable. I need a good environment to study and live in. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!! Thank you all!

What school will you be attending?

And how much is your rent budget?

I'm looking to attend Watson College of Art Design and Film. I would like to spend about $850 a month at the most. Not really sure what the average is in the area. I'm willing to go higher in price per month though, as getting a roommate at some point is an option as well.
