Any ideas out there? Also what other sites are "must sees" keeping in mind that this is a family trip and I will have my 5 year old. I only say that because I found this tour that I wanted to do, then noticed that it was for 13 years and older. I really just want to do things that take me all over so that we can see what the city is like because we are planning to move.
Thank you!

Well, right there at the Opry is of course, the Opryland hotel. They have a boat ride through the hotel (kind of expensive though). And there is Opry Mills- the shopping mall. It has some restuarants like Rain Forest Cafe, Alabama Grill, The Aquarium. Also boarding in that same area is a river boat- General Jackson. There is also a small, fair/carnival type amusment park in Music Valley (that is the area just across from Opryland). Downtown has the Country Music Hall of Fame and I think you can tour through the Ryman.
I found
www.nashvillesightseeing.com that allows 5 year olds. They are free if they ride in your lap. I'm sure there are others that allow kids. If you want to take like a bus tour to get a good look at the city, I think one that includes seeing the stars homes would be good. That will take you out away from the city plus show you some of the highlights in the city.
I used to work at the Radisson on Music Valley Dr, across from the Opryland Hotel and owned by them. For awhile I made up packets of info for the guests that included maps and attractions. The people I worked with made fun of me, but the guests liked them.
