Sketchy in Hendersonville doesn't mean the same thing as sketchy in Nashville. I would just say that area is older and, as Don mentioned, a higher traffic area. Luna ln is used as a cut through between Walton ferry and sanders ferry. In general, though, it's still a great area and you could walk to the lake easily.

Well... I see we all have fine taste and are in agreement about what a beautiful home it is!

The noise thing could be a problem for me. My current home is two 1-acre lots (one with a home on it) away from a 2-lane road where the average speed limit is 40-50 and the noise really annoys the heck out of me when I'm outside. If I considered the house on Luna, I'd have to bring a lawn chair, book, and a few cigars and sit out in that back yard for a few hours on a weekend morning/afternoon/evening to get a feel for the noise/traffic. I'd also be inclined to ring the doorbells of a few of the neighbors on Sanders Ferry Road to ask them if the noise/traffic bothers them.

I did do a Google maps run of the entire length of Sanders Ferry Rd and I noted the posted speed limit was 35 - but did not see any stop signs anywhere - which makes me wonder if people don't wind up going a lot faster than 35 on it?

I've got a friend that lives over that way. I will ask her.

I would say it stays around 35 maybe 40. I have driven down it and its a tight road so I have found myself doing about the speed limit when I have gone to the park at the bottom of the peninsula.
