Just realized who "Teddy" reminds me of: former Governor John Edwards. Both in appearance and in the way the character is written and portrayed.

Serate, you can watch the episode tomorrow on abc.com . . Pretty sure you have to wait 24 hours before today's show is posted but you can see it and i would highly recommend it! The version of scarlett and gunnar's "if i didn't know better" was so hot!!! Seriously. Didn't realize how much chemistry these two actors had until now . . Wow!

watch full episodes - abc

thanks!

Figured there'd be 4 or 5 posts about the March 27th show up already.

Well, I like to give people a few days to watch it since a lot of people don't watch it in real time . .

Comments would be - LOVED that they filmed outside of Two Hippies. Strongly suspect the inside was a sound stage? WAY too big to be Two Hippies.

I don't honestly see much chemistry between Deacon and the vet but give him credit for attempting to get past the "one and done" label. AND although Rayna 'appears' to be available with the pending divorce, that would be way too easy. The tension is what keeps us watching. Lots of shows 'jump the shark' after the two protagonists get together - like Moonlighting. Joanie and Chachie. (!!! showing my age now!)

Never liked Rayna's husband. Always felt he was a fish out of water with the rest of the 'cast' - maybe because he's not musical. Heck, even her girls are musical! I can certainly see the John Edwards comparison.

I must say that on the set of The View - all the cast members seemed very supportive of each other. Both Connie Britten and Hayden P. gave the cast members who sang a standing ovation from their seats in the audience. Seemed to be a tight cast. I think it shows with the acting . . that they seem to really 'like' each other.

With the 2nd volume of the music being released, the 'spotlight' exhibit at the Country Hall of Fame running until Halloween, the DVD being released - called "Volume 1", they all give more credence to my 'inside info' that the show has been renewed for a 2nd season (although have read no official announcement.)

Boy, I hope it's renewed! But ratings were down on Wednesday, sadly - of course, waiting a month between episodes just might have something to do with that, you think?? DO the ABC executives who make such clueless decisions think?? Of course they're going to both confuse and lose viewers who are interested but not as committed as some of us who are so taken with this series.

I hear that business is WAY up at "Two Old Hippies" since the episode was filmed there. It's becoming a regular stop on the tourist track in Nashville.

I think you're right about the tightness of the cast, CountryGirl2b= also, Hayden Panettiere is known for apologizing to her fellow cast members after "Juliette" throws one of her many temper tantrums - she's being pretty careful to separate "Juliette" from "Hayden", it seems, understandably, but she's doing a great job portraying this spoiled, determined, talented and insecure young woman, and making her exasperating, yet sympathetic, to the viewing audience.

The entire scene was filmed at Two Old hippies.

Last night they were filming outside the SunTrust building.

I like Teddy, though the writers do seem to make really fast transformations with some of their characters. At first he could barely stand to be around Peggy and did not appear to be hiding any "chemistry" between him and her. Now she's the one person he can "be himself" around?

I'm also glad he is not musical. I think it would be REALLY unrealistic to make everyone on the show either a musician or in the music industry. Personally I do not have one family member here associated with the music industry in any way, though I do like going out to see/hear live music here!

Nashville has a LOT of businesses represented here. IMHO, it adds depth and variety to have varying occupations in the scripts.

The vet storyline, for example, is pretty interesting.

To me, the best part of the show (besides Gunnar and Scarlett finally getting together) was when Rayna told Juliette off on the phone.
