Moving to Nashville from Ohio please help!!!
Hey everybody I am planning to move to Nashville in the next few months from Ohio. I have never been to Nashville so I do not know what areas to stay away from. Can anyone please give me suggestions as to nice areas of Nashville. I can't aford to live in Franklin but I am looking for a rental that runs somewhere around 800 dollars a month. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

You might try looking in Bellevue, or one of the nicer complexes in the southern part of the county. I just don't know what apartments rent for these days so I can't be a big help.

You can rent in Franklin for $800 a month.
Antioch used to be nice but I would avoid that area now. Smyrna is nice or an extra exit down from Franklin is Spring Hill.

welcome to Nashville!
You should be able to find something in your price range in Franklin if you really want to live there. I personally live in Murfreesboro, and it's a great place with alot of diversity, and the largest undergrad. univ. in the state (MTSU) is down here. It is growing like crazy, though, but they're trying to build up the infrastructure too.. There are many great areas in west Nashville as well if you wanted to stay closer to downtown. My wife is from Ohio and she loves it here!

Murfreesboro is also a good place to buy a home because you get a lot for your money. My daughter is a student at MTSU.

In with AlleyCat - I know that there are apartments to rent in the Bellevue area for $800 for a 2 bedroom.
You might also try the Hermitage area. It's closer to Downtown and there are a lot of apartment complexes to chose from as well as accesible shopping and restaurants.
Best of luck and welcome!

Another Area with lots of Apartments is Edmonson Pike off of Old Hickory Blvd. I believe they are in your price range. This is the area of Nashville that is close to the Brentwood Border, so some of these Apartments might have Brentwood Addresses, but will be in Davidson County.
