As far as I know, it seems to be around the same time as last call in the bars (if such stores are still open at that time). I could be mistaken, but I think Brentwood stops selling at midnight. I've never been at a gas station at 3 am, but I would assume that is the time in Nashville.
I've bought beer at the Kroger in Brentwood at 3 am before. Do gas stations and grocery stores have different rules?

When was before? My response was from 3.5 years ago, so I am unsure if the law has changed.

I remember trying to buy beer at a gas station in Brentwood (BP, maybe?) after midnight and having a clerk tell me they couldn't sell it after midnight....so I drove across the county line where I did not have that issue.

I had not tried to buy at the Kroger in Brentwood. I've bought plenty of beer at that Kroger, just never after midnight. I could be mistaken, but I seem to remember that Brentwood bars closed at midnight (and Franklin 's at 2 am) and that the sale of alcohol in stores was tied to that. Again, it's been a few years, so things may have changed, or perhaps I had some faulty information.

It was 10 years ago. Maybe it's changed since then.
