Default Moving to White House/Need Info.

I will be moving to White House, TN after I come check out the area first. Can anyone give me some names of condos, townhomes or apartments for rent? I know there aren't very many apartment complexes there but maybe I could rent a condo or townhome. I would appreciate all the help I can. Thanks.

I appreciate your help. Maybe I should look in Hendersonville. Can you give me some advice? Do you have a two bedroom apt? I really like White House and that is where I want to live. I just don't know if I will be able to find a place to rent. Thanks so much for your help.

We've been in WH for seven+ yrs (have owned our home for 5+). I would recommend H'ville for apts. WH is a nice town but there's not a lot going on for apt dwellers. There is a very small apt complex on College St. that's a little tucked away - it's run by Dove Realty (Coldwell Banker), or at least they ran it when we lived there. The units are small but at the time were clean/OK. There are home rentals from time to time - check the Bargain Browser.

I do think they are building townhomes as part of the Indian Ridge subdivision. Contact a realtor - that would be your best bet there.

PS We lived in mt. Vernon as our first apt and I would not recommend it. If you have a choice I would rent in H'ville.

Thank you so much for the information. I met a nice girl who lives in White House with her husband and she says there are some condos and townhomes that look new for rent. I will have to ask her about those. I just think White House would be a nice place to live. I guess I can also look in Hendersonville. What do you think about Hendersonville? It isn't as small as White House but do you get the same feel as you would in White House TN? I just don't want a big city life anymore. I want the small town, family, church feeling. I might be single but that doesn't mean I can't live in a small town with mostly families. I love to volunteer and work with children and the older folks. It is an inspiration for me. I just wish there were more places for me to have choices but if not I might have to live in Hendersonville. I really appreciate all that help you have given me.

Kimberly

H'ville is nice. It's bigger but definitely not big city. I think you would get small town, family, church but with more to do (eating, activities, shopping). My SIL is single and lives just shy of H'ville, in Madison, and likes it. There's much more choice if you have to/want to rent.

That said, I do recommend WH - I like living here and it is a little more "out". But I think you can get the feeling you're looking for in H'ville too.

I am pretty sure the townhomes (called "The Village") are to buy, not rent. I don't think they're done yet. I'd recommend calling a realtor. Good luck!
