We're replacing our den's paneling with drywall -- it's about 13 x 22 with lots of windows and doors. Do any of you have suggestions for someone to haul away the paneling and drywall scraps or know of a place to legally dump them?

We don't need a dumpster because there won't be that much to haul away -- everything will probably fit in a single pickup bed.

Feel free to PM. Thanks!

That kind of debris is not allowed in the "convenience centers" (dump).

This document spells out how to get rid of most kinds of construction waste, and it includes a list of companies that will haul it away on page 8.

Thanks! We knew it couldn't go to the convenience center, though I'm not sure why it won't take wood paneling. Seems like it would be very recyclable.

Getting rid of this relatively small amount of waste is more complex than we thought it would be.

It always is. I always laugh at the name "convenience" center, because it's usually anything but convenient.
