Trying to be positive here.

1. I don't have to mow the grass.

2. I am not worried about any flooding.

3. I have a great excuse for eating more ice cream.

Makes you appreciate spring and fall more.

Watermelon on the back porch at sunset.

Not only does beer taste better, but so does iced tea. In fact, studies have shown watering parched plants during a drought with iced tea will increase their yield 167%.

Which is, of course, impossible to prove because who would ever waste good iced tea on plants?

Ice cream and other cold treats at local drive through restaurants. I'm thinking hawaiian shaved ice stands, frozen lemonade, etc.

No need to waste electricity drying your hair after a shower. Just walk outside for a few minutes and the sun will suck all the moisture out. But don't be out so long that you sweat.

Productivity increases in many offices because workers tend to arrive earlier, leave later, and leave for lunch less often. (Less time at home reduces your own A/C bill, too!)

High heat is said to slow bedbugs' reproduction.

Complaining about it brings us together. Nothing unites us like commiserating about severe weather!
