Default any home churches in Nashville?

I work at times that conflict with traditional church times, and I would love to find a home church, preferably north of downtown, but flexible on that. Anybody got any information for me? Thanks for any help you can give!

Just checkin to see if you've found a church? I have a couple of recommendations. On the north side of Nashville, Cornerstone church @ old hickory blvd and I-65 has evening services on Saturday. Give it a try. A lil contemporary. Mt Zion is an excellent choice as well. Two services on Sunday morning. 2 more @ another location. Its also located on Old Hickory Blvd but close to I-24. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Well, I see I didn't do a good job of expressing what I am looking for. I am wanting to find a church/prayer group meeting in someone's home. This is what I am looking to find. Not really interested in traditional church. Thanks to all who replied the first time. Maybe this clarification will bring the information I'm looking for.

Default churches

I had been attending Cornerstone Church in Madison for the last 5 yrs. It is an awesome church! They have a wonderful childrens ministry and youth ministry. They have Saturday evening service at 5 p.m. and Sunday morning service at 10 a.m. Wednesday night service is at 7:30 p.m. with bible study class starting at 6:30 p.m. The church phone number is 615-865-6655 if you have any questions.

Recently, one of the men in the church started a brand new church with a smaller setting.. at the Bell Forge Cinema in Hickory Hollow in Antioch. My husband had been praying for someone from Cornerstone to start a church in our direction (we live in Smyrna). Pastor Jack Harper started this church and we are entering into our third service. Our service begins at 10 a.m. with bible study starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings.

We would love to have you.

Lisa

I understand what you are asking. My advice is to search the internet which you probably already have done.

The other advice is to visit a church that you would attend if you had to go to a church. There I would start asking people and even the pastor(s) about if they know of a home church in your area. If you cannot make it at traditional times, call that church or visit during a special service. Of course, you may have to check the internet for that.

Also, many churches have home groups, community groups or cell groups, call a church and ask if they have any in your area. My guess is that after making some friends and contacts that you will find what you are looking.

So, I would call up Belmont Church, Cornerstone Church or what church you prefer and see what you could find out.

I understand what you are asking as well, and I've not found any. There are a few website to help the search, such as homechurch.meetup.com, but again I've found that none are currently meeting.

God willing, I'll be moving to the Nashville area from Indiana to begin the police academy with the MNPD within a week or 2, and if I am unable to find a home church, I will seek fellow brothers and sisters out to start my own. I highly recommend reading the book "House Church" by Steve Atkerson. Really set up a good foundation for me.
