First presidential election living in TN. I think I heard there was early voting. Does that apply to the Presidential Election as well? I have an elderly mother and wanted her to vote when it's not overly crowded. She has to show ID but after doing that once, I think she can do a write in vote.

Anyway, does anyone know when it starts, IF it starts?

Default Early voting is a great idea!

You will be able to vote at the Berry's Chapel Church of Christ right down the street from you, Country Girl, from Oct. 17, as JMT said, thru Nov. 1.

Thanks much! We never had the option in CT. Totally new concept and a little strange. What if I voted early and then the guy I voted for reveals he was a Klingon from Star Trek? What happens to my vote?

Then you voted for a Klingon from Star Trek...no takesee backsees I have to say...I LOVE early voting. I never vote on Election Day. People get all sentimental and say they HAVE to vote on Election Day. But, when I can get up on a Saturday morning and conveniently (and quickly) vote....I'm all good with throwing away the sentimental side of it. Your vote counts the exact same amount.
