So we like to get sushi on the weekends if we don't have any plans. Our favorite is Ichiban on 2nd. Verago was good but overpriced for that upscale type of scene. Been to one place in Belmont that wasn't so good, and used to go to Taki in Hermitage but we got some funky fish once and have stuck with Ichiban.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? If I don't go to Ichiban tonight, may go to Samurai Sushi near Vandy, or Sushi O Sushi in Lenox village.

Here is an older thread I started about the very same thing! Not sure if new places have opened yet, but here's the response from last time . . .

Kohana Sushi! They have locations in Green Hills and Hendersonville. I've only been to the Hendersonville one but it is excellent.

During my last visit, we went to a sushi restaurant across from the Belcourt theater, not on 21st, but around the corner on the side street. I wish that I could remember the name. Sorry that I am not more helpful, but we liked the food.

Was it Zumi Sushi Coney? There's a row of houses through that have been turned into restaurants.

Sushi Me in Lennox is pretty good. I also love their spicy ramen soup.
