Hey Guys,

Anyone know of a local bank (credit union, bank, etc...) that has a coin machine for Account Holders with no fee's?

I have a couple coin jugs I'd like to cash in on, but don't want to get scalped by the coin machines at the grocery stores.

Looking for one around Madison/Goodlettsville/Hendersonville/Gallatin. If none can be found there, don't mind finding one in the greater Nashville area!

Thanks!

I'll say it.

Just go to Coinstar. A few weeks ago I took a jar of coins to the one in my local grocery, got almost $50 in cash and paid a $2 fee for the convenience.

I honestly didn't feel gouged.

I haven't seen a coin machine in a bank in years.

SunTrust used to have coin machines in the branches (Madison Branch specifically comes to mind). You could give the money to the tellers and they can run it through for you.

Have you tried calling a few banks to see if they'd do it for you? Otherwise, I agree with Wmsn that Coinstar is worth the commission especially if you have loads of coins.

Hey Guys!

Forgot to update this thread! I apologize about that!

Found out that some 5th/3rd banks have them.

The Ones That Do:
5th/3rd - Madison, TN
5th/3rd - Fairview, TN
5th/3rd - Spring Hill, TN

Thanks for all the help! And Don, I'll have to check out Suntrust to see if they do!
