Those comments are amazing.

Kind of a shallow article. Its as if someone got a few issues of the Scene and a few social sections of the Tennessean, and called up some celeb gawkers who probably don't really know what they're talking about.

Our city is terrible. No running water, lack of shoes, denim overalls, dueling banjos can always be heard in the distance, and dental work is something that doesn't exist due to the absurd amount of meth consumed everywhere.
LOL, so true! Nothing to see here...

Then they took a look at the real estate listings and decided that Gulch 'homes' start at $800k.

Well, I've never really heard of the Hollywood Reporter . . . . OR "Northumberland" - but the Comments really are a 'hoot'!

Northumberland is a swanky subdivision off Harding in Green Hills. It is guarded like a fortress

There's a saying that "When pigs fart, they go to Nashville." Now whether there's any truth to that (or whether it even has real meaning outside of the obvious literal interpretation), is a matter best left to the scientists with their lab monkeys and their bunsen burners. The bigger point is that when expressions like that begin to circulate, next thing you know you've got the Jack Blacks and the White Keys, the Nicole Depps and the Keith Kidman's, all descending on the place to see if there's an easy buck to be made. In the end though, none of them can handle the forlorn looks of the locals and the residue of grease that coats everything including the imagination. Can I get an amen?

A couple of my friends and I all signed on and left our mark there just to be part of this social experiment.

I love the internet.
