I am not sure of the contact info, but I would suggest contacting the Nashville Catholic Charities office. I know they have several halfway homes integrated into neighborhoods (one is a block from me), though I'm not sure how it works with children. Nonetheless it may be an okay place to start and they may have recommendations.

If truly desperate in the interim, there is a family shelter called Safe Haven on 3rd Ave.

Best of luck to you and your family. I will keep the three of you in my prayers.

I am a mother of 4 children and I'm a convicted felon for selling drugs in 2012 . As well as my fiance. We both have changed our lives and just recently got baptized. I do understand some people don't change and keep repeating the same cycle but, both have changed our lives but can't seem to find anyone that will rent to us. We have been living at some apartments for 2 and a half years now but the crime is getting terrible here. There's to many shootings and a lot of men selling drugs, and I don't want to be around it neither my kid's. I can't even let them go outside to play. We also don't have the best of credit either. We do have the money to move but, we just keep getting denied. Can someone please help me with some sort of resources or something. I don't want my children around this kind of environment. Please help. Thanks
