Clarksville - Williamson County (Memphis, Jackson: 2014, high school, zoned)

Hello,

I'm seeking info on the area neat I-40. We recently moved to TN. Husband has been reassigned to job areas in Memphis,Jackson and Little Rock. We'd prefer to stay closer to Nashville-close to interstate. We have a teen,so a great high school is important.

Can you provide input on areas? We're thinking about Spring Hill,Fairview,Thompson Station. Clarksville is small compared to the big city we left,so we want to be closer to Nashville.

If Clarksville is small compared to the city you left, I don't know why you would be looking at towns that make Clarksville look like the big city.

That said, you might look at an area like Pegram or Kingston Springs. Very small communities, but close to the interstate with easy access to Nashville.

Fairview is an OK option location-wise, but it's a little ways off the highway. It might feel isolated to you.

Spring Hill and Thompson's Station are going to put you another 20+ minutes from I-40. Spring Hill and Thompson's Station aren't too far from Franklin, which has plenty of food/shopping/etc...but it's a good ways from Nashville. Kingston Springs and Pegram are about 15 minutes closer to downtown Nashville.

I'd look in the Independence Zoned area of THompson Station. You would have easy access to I-840

Clarksville has good schools in the Sango area, decent housing prices. We are the 5th largest city in the state, getting a 1800 employee plant in 2014, with lots of active duty folks around.

I'm 30 minutes from Nashville, and 35 minutes from I40

check out Tollgate Village, right next door to Independence HS and right off 840. Very good pricing with excellent amenities.
