Default Providence Re-Zoning Question

I am planning on attending the city commission meeting re: 2 acres of land currently zoned for Multi-Family Residential. CPS Land is requesting that this property be rezoned to a Commercial Mixed Use designation. This land is across from apartments and backs up to residential homes. I do not want this to happen. Does anyone know what I can do other than attend the meeting?

Contact your commissioner and any at-large commissioners. Get as many people as you can from the neighborhood to come to the planning commission meeting (if there is one) and also the commission meeting. Send letters to the newspaper.
