Default New Year's Eve in Nashville

Hi. I'm planning on being in Nashville Dec. 29 - Jan. 1, and was wondering what y'all think are the best New Year's Eve activities. I really enjoy good fireworks displays, and loved the fireworks show I saw at the riverfront park in Nashville a few years ago for the 4th of July. I'm not in to the high-dollar parties, and would rather spend the evening with lots of people. Any suggestions?

The lower Broad/Riverfront area sounds like it would work for you. There's probably some fireworks and stuff out around the Opryland Hotel and Opry Mills also.
