Default Graphic Design?

I am contemplating a move to the Nashville area in the spring. My better half is a graphic designer. We have both researched various cities that we have been considering and have found many potential jobs for her (my job location is flexible), but for some reason there seems to be a void when I query Nashville. Bear in mind that I'm the one researching Nashville and trying to better my sales pitch to her.

Can anybody tell me what kind of opportunities/positions there are in the Nashville area for experienced graphic designers and what kind of salary one can expect? Thanks

I'm in Graphic Design, and moved here from Memphis about 3 years ago. Back then I had a helluva time finding a job, and even had to get back into the restaurant industry until I was able to find one.

Since then though, it's been steady for me.

As for salary, of course that all depends on skill level/experience...but I'd say anything from low/mid 30's to low 40's for a typical graphic artist...and the more mgmt/skills/exp. you've got, up to 6 figures.
