You are correct. And that's the Bell Monument.

I've been there (and to the Bell Cave), but it's been many years ago. I grew up in the eastern part of Montgomery County and Adams was just down the road.

And our trivia factoid for those photos, Metro had to special order a fire truck to fit the station. It was too small for the currently manufactured trucks.
