Title basically says it all...wondering if it is reasonable to try and find a waterfront home within an hour of Nashville (I don't mind driving) over 3,000 sq ft built after 2004 (must be open concept) for around $500k?

I don't know if this is asking for too much for too low a price or if this is reasonable to find? I looked on a site called lakehouse.com but very little came up.

Thanks in advance!

I think so. If you go to Zillow and type in Hendersonville. It will bring up a map. you can zoom in and it looks like most are above the 500K threshold but there are some out there on both the Hendersonville/Gallatin side and the Old Hickory/Mt. Juliet side of the lake.

What kind of waterfront? Like on a river, or a lake, or just any type of water? Also, does the house need to be move in ready or are you willing to build/renovate?
