I would appreciate any input on the type of internet service Comcast delivers.
I use to work for Comcast I can tell you a lot. The fact is Comcast over all network is good. They pay attention to there network and they expand there nodes when they need to. There customer service is good for a Telecom. Now the downside. The fact is there core network is solid as a rock and works well but not everyone live next do to there "headend". it really depends on wires in your area. If your lines are good then Comcast is great if they aren't so great then Comcast sucks. If your house is close to the end of the line and you have a few amps between you and the node your service reliability will suck. You will have have regular problems and even with regular truck rolls you are likely just going to work ok not great. Now if you happen to be next door to a node then you will likely never have a problem. Most people will be somewhere in between. Also 1 block can make a real difference in your service. I remember 1 block were 1 side of the street worked well the other side didn't so Just because someone 3 blocks away work well or bad doesn't mean anything. It all comes down to the track the lines go and what they have to get though to get there.

Thanks
Robert
