Default Safe areas of Nashville...

I'm an 18 year old female about to move to Nashville on my own. What neighbourhoods are my best bet? I'll be renting an apartment (an inexpensive apartment) and commuting to downtown Nashville daily. Thank you!

You've kind of got a problem. Here, as it is in most places, the safer areas are also the more expensive areas.

You might think about getting a roommate, and sharing the rent of an apartment in one of the better areas.

There are some older apartments in the Midtown area (near Vanderbilt University) that might be within your budget. I've had a few friend who've rented apartments like that. I have no idea what they rent for these days. Bellevue would work for you as a safe area, but most of the apartments are probably out of your price range.

$600 monthly is the most I can spend. I'm most likely going to rent a studio apartment (which is fine by me).
