We saw Reese Witherspoon a couple of times in Walmart in Lebanon, two summers ago. A year ago or alittle more. I saw Reba Mcintire in the Gallatan Walmart. They both kinda turned their heads down and went on. We/I never point out somebody like that. But I will smile and slightly nod my head. They know what's up. They are just trying to get out and about. Usually they smile back. I learned this from my home state. Several Actors and such have big farm/ranches up there.

This has been such fun to read. I'm at the airport almost every week so I've seen a lot of celebs there. I'm not up on the who's who stuff though so I don't always recognize people, or even know their names.

Most people are just going about their business. Tracy Lawrence put a guitar case on my foot once. I didn't know who he was until someone told me. LOL...Harry Shearer from Spinal Tap was going thru the security line next to mine not long ago...he was pretty clueless, and not in the "I'm a celeb, I'm above the TSA" kind of way...he just couldn't find his stuff! It was pretty funny actually, probably because he wasn't in my line!

I live in Franklin so I've seen Wynonna a few times, including at church. I've seen Naiomi in restaurants and at Kroger.

My favorite surprise celeb sighting happened in Madison, WI though. My friend and I were walking down State St and ran into John Prine. I LOVE John Prine and have seen him in concert about 7 times. He was so nice, chatted, took pics with us and even gave us directions to the venue. The funny thing is, my friend made us walk back to the car to get her camera about an hour before. She said she wanted it in case we saw JP. I said, "Barbara, it's not like he's gonna be walking down State St."

Great Prine story. Isn't it nice when people live up to our expectations?

Indeed. He was wonderful. The show was at this great old place, The Barrymore. They always do festival seating so the line was forming early. JP shows are always like big family reunions with everyone socializing and playing cards etc while in line. John Prine arrived at the hall alone in his Blazer, pulled up and greeted the fans in line.

Sigh. I love him.
