ethcd, as far as high school it's going to be Father Ryan HS. You can look them up at Father Ryan High School.
If you are looking at elementary schools I would suggest you talk to someone at Father Ryan or go to the following website to get specific private school information: Private School Review - Profiles of USA Private Schools.
Hope this helps.

St. Edwards is very good too, but it's off the Armory exit in Nashville. I know 2 teachers there who had their choice of where to teach and send their kids. They both live in Williamson County, but commute there, which says a lot.

My best friend had three kids at Father Ryan at one time (including a daughter on the state championship volleyball team). She was happy with the school, and she isn't the easier person in the world to please. It's not cheap however if you're in a high-income bracket. Her kids are all now at UT (one will be going to Vanderbilt for his Masters next year) and I think she pays less now than when they were at Father Ryan.

Thanks! I have heard good things about Father Ryan also. But I do need an elementary school (3rd grade). I have talked to St. Edwards and St. Matthews they seem pretty good.

I now live in Texas but was lucky enought to work at Overbrook when I lived in Nashville. I would give anything to put my daughter in that wonderful school. It is run by Dominican Sisters and they are just lovely women. If you have any questions please feel free to dm me.
