Try Greenbrier, Ashland City, or White House.

Maybe Springfield or Portland (it's been a long time since I've been to Portland and can't say what it's like now; it's grown a bit since I was there).
It's pretty easy to find lots of trees around here. This area is a native hardwood forest.

Franklin, Kentucky is much nicer than Portland or White House

I am afraid. IF you find it. It will not stay "quaint" for long. Too much growth everywhere around nashville. People just want to live here.

Greenbrier would be my choice. Not too far out but has some areas with larger acreage left.

My cousin lives in Greenbrier and he has over 5 acres. His home and land are very nice. I would definitely check out this area.
