Any suggestions for good areas to buy a home and bit of land between Nashville & Clarksville (preferably closer to Nashville)?

Yep. Not much else that is truly between the two.

Cooperstown seems to always be in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Closer to Nashville (technically part of the city), look at Joelton.

Joelton magically turns into Buffalo during the winter, so it has that going against it.

Replying, although this is a bit late.
With the Nashville housing boom, it may be a lot more cost effective to get a bit closer to the Clarksville area.
Land and housing prices are still holding steady. And if you can get something near I-24 the travel time to Nashville is not bad.
