The area between Franklin and Brentwood on the northwest side is known as Grassland.

Generally speaking, it is bisected by Hillsboro Pike and bordered by Sneed Road (maybe Murray Lane) on the north, the Old Natchez Trace on the west, South Berrys Chapel Rd on the south and North Berrys Chapel Rd to the east.

Thank you! Not a resident, but a frequent visitor for these past fifteen years to the Green Hills, Brentwood, Cool Springs, and Franklin areas. There have been so many beautiful new developments over these fifteen years. A young "senior" now, I am getting a little concerned about over-development in the Green Hills area, since traffic there already gets a little exciting at certain times of the day. I have noticed mention of Grassland on the forum several times. Again, thank you for answering my Q.

Well, one thing about Grassland is that the county planning commission is actually talking steps to ensure that Grassland does not become overdeveloped.
