Visiting... (Hendersonville, Henderson: new home, schools, places to live)

I'm visiting on the 19th to the 23rd. We will be staying in Nashville. After visting places to live and schools in Mt. Juliet and Hendersonville we would like to get out and have a good time....does anyone know of anything fun going on that week? Suggestions for fun bars/clubs that have a night life on week nights?? Thanks for any info!

You might want to try downtown Nashville in the 2nd Avenue & Broadway area.(Wildhorse Saloon, Tootsies, Wild Orchid, etc.)

I would probably suggest starting at the Riverfront Park/2nd Avenue area, then along "lower Broad" (Broardway), maybe some of the clubs south of Broad, then maybe on out West End/21st Avenue/Hillsboro Village. I'm not sure who's in town that week; there is usually one or two "big name" acts in town at any certain time.

I have a friend who is a real "club person". She spends her weekends out on the town somewhere (occasionally I go with her, but not very often). If you would like, I could ask what she's doing that weekend and maybe you could join her and her rather wide group of friends. She loves meeting people; to her, the more the merrier.

Thanks. That would be nice. The only weekend night I have is friday though. I am leaving Saturday afternoon

How is the weather been down there? I'm hoping you all are having a mild winter and the end of the month will be atleast in the low 60's during the day.....any chance of that??

We're had a relatively mild winter, but it is still winter and we've had a few cold days in the mix. Currently, at 3:44 PM, it's 56 degrees. Who knows what it will be like at the end of the month, it could be 75 . . . or 25.

My hubby and I enjoyed a night at the Bluebird Cafe...but we are music buffs...great talent abounds in Nashville. We went with new Nashville friends and had a great time. :-) We cannot wait to move to our new hometown!
